This special continuous casting process developed in-house combines the structural benefits of the centrifugal casting process with the machining benefits of continuous casting. The mechanical properties achieved are significantly better than those of pro­ducts fabricated using standard continuous casting processes. At the same time, the wear resistance of these products is increased up to fivefold.
